PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable refrigerant compressor inhibiting build-up of copper plating and preventing wear due to metal contact when parts of refrigerant and lubricating oil are decomposed and acid material such as carboxylic acid is formed in a hermetic compressor. SOLUTION: An oil cooler 105 of which inside is filled with refrigerant 115 and which is cooled by heat exchange at an outside of the hermetic vessel 101 to cool the lubricating oil 104 is formed out of aluminum metal. Since the oil cooler 105 is fixed at a lower part of the hermetic vessel 101 by welding, build-up of copper plating at a sliding part can be inhibited.
