PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant evacuation capsule which can be set up at low cost, and easily ensures the safety of the resident even if danger such as collapse of a house by an earthquake occurs. SOLUTION: The earthquake-resistant evacuation capsule is composed at least of a capsule body 2 which is a spherical hollow body having an opening section formed in part thereof, as an entrance 21, and a support portion 6 supporting the capsule body 2 on an installation surface from below. The earthquake-resistant evacuation capsule has imparted thereto fire-resistant and heat-resistant properties, and a structure 3 which ensures the strength of the capsule body 2 is mainly made of a fiber reinforced plastic.
