PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting tool having a lightweight and simple structure which is capable of suppressing the bending stress and the deflection of a lifting beam and reliably lifting a cargo such as reinforcing bars of low bending rigidity. SOLUTION: The lifting beam 1 which is interposed for use between a mesh bar 10 and a lifting hook 11 of a lifting machine comprises a small lifting beam 2 connected to the lifting hook 11 via a first bar 4, and a large lifting beam 3 which is connected to a lower side of the small lifting beam 2 via a plurality of second bars 5, etc. and lifts the mesh bar 10 by a third bar 6.
