The device has an application unit moved along rows, and a collecting device that comprises a suction pump for recirculation of absorbed spray mixture into an insecticide tank (10). The collecting device is fastened to a vehicle and comprises a tubular frame mount, which is arranged with a tub-shaped thick foil for collecting the mixture. A part representing the foil is guided to the proximity of the plants of a row culture. Spray tubes (6) with spray nozzles (7) are directed towards the foil such that a spray jet of the mixture is guided to leaves of plants and on the foil.
