<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output filter which can be miniaturized by reducing the voltage applied to a common mode choke used in the common mode filter in the output filter to reduce a turn number of windings of the common mode choke, and to provide a power converter. <P>SOLUTION: In the output filter 4, the return end nf of the common mode filter 5 inserted between the output terminal of an inverter means 22 and a load, is connected to the neutral point obtained by dividing the voltage between the positive side P and the negative side N of a DC bus line. The output filter 4 is equipped with a voltage dividing circuit 6a for dividing the voltage between the positive side P and the negative side N of the DC bus line to create a plurality of neutral points with different potentials, and with a neutral point switching means 7 for switching the return end nf of the common mode filter 5 to any of the plurality of neutral points based on the switching state of the semiconductor switching element of each arm of the inverter means 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
