PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack securing high safety while having compact constitution. SOLUTION: The battery pack 10 includes a rectangular parallelopiped battery 10 and a pair of covering members 3A, 3B facing and interposing the battery 10 on the inside of a casing 7. The battery 10 is formed by housing a battery element having laminate structure of a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator placed between these electrodes in a battery can electrically connected to the negative electrode. The covering members 3A, 3B each has the laminate structure in which a conductive film 4 is interposed between a pair of insulating films 5, 6, and a tab 4T which is a part of the conductive film 4 is electrically connected to the battery 10.
