PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinal operation type steering device with excellent operability. SOLUTION: In this steering device, steering is performed by operating grips 3L and 3R in the longitudinal direction by a driver. The steering device is provided with a steering shaft 5 connected to the grips 3L and 3R and rotated by the operations of the grips 3L and 3R in the longitudinal direction, a cam 30 provided in the steering shaft 5 and a movable frame 13 movable in the longitudinal direction in a box main body 12 together with the cam 30.
