PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to search image data by a simple operation even if he/she does not accurately remember details of a desired image. SOLUTION: The image search device 2 for searching desired image data 4 from a plurality of image data 4 comprises: an object image storage part 25 which stores in advance object image data 27 as images of objects included in images of the image data 4; a handwritten image generation part 40 which acquires handwritten image data of a handwritten image of an object included in an image of the desired image data 4; and an object candidate presentation part 42 which extracts object image data 27 of objects similar to the image of the handwritten image data from the object image storage part 25 and displays it on a display device 8. The user selects the object shown by the handwritten image from the objects displayed on the display device 8. The selected object is set as a search key.
