PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler type traveling device capable of expanding a lateral interval upon expansion of a truck frame which can expand/contract the lateral interval, and preventing the expansion of the lateral interval upon the contraction of the truck frame. SOLUTION: A leg body 42 projecting from the truck frame 36 is supported by a center frame 18 so as to laterally move, and a regulating member 72 inserted in an engaging groove 71 on the leg body 42 side so as to relatively move in a lateral direction is provided on the center frame 18. When the truck frame 36 is moved in the lateral direction, the regulating member 72 abuts on an end portion of the engaging groove 71, thereby regulating the expansion/contraction of the lateral interval of the truck frame 36. A projecting member 77 projecting out from a lateral direction inner end of the leg body 42 to the inner side in the lateral direction is provided, and the engaging groove 71 is formed from the projecting member 77 to the leg body 42. While the lateral interval of the truck frame 36 is contracted, the projecting member 77 of one leg body 42 is inserted in the other leg body 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
