PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carton in which a packaging material can be disposed of without being thrown away as a trash after the content is removed. SOLUTION: The carton is for storing and selling confectioneries or the like individually packaged with packaging materials, and an opening/closing region 4a for being opened as a lid is partitioned by breaking lines on an upper face panel 4. A trash storing part into which the packaging material after the content is taken out is inserted is provided on the back side of the opening/closing region 4a. The packaging material after the content is taken out can be inserted into the trash storing part on the back side of the lid. As the trash storing part into which the packaging material is inserted is provided on the back side of the lid, when the packaging material is stored into the carton, there exists no possibility of mixing it with a new one, and it does not become unsightly and does not become obstructive in the case when the next new one is taken out.
