PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation device which can prevent oscillation stop with a relatively small circuit scale. SOLUTION: The oscillation device comprises an oscillator for outputting an oscillation signal when an operating current is applied thereto from a current source, at least one timer which starts measuring a predetermined time and outputs a time-out signal when the measurement ends, and a controller which, when receiving the time-out signal, compares an oscillation level of the oscillation signal output from the oscillator with a reference level, and which, when the oscillation level is not lower than the reference level, performs such control as to reduce the operating current applied to the oscillator at least once.
