PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-terminal type solid electrolytic capacitor that is thin, has flexibility in component arrangement, and especially, can be manufactured efficiently in a simple process, and to provide a manufacturing method for the multi-terminal type solid electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: A negative electrode terminal section 7 is provided at a recess in a metal plate, along with an oxide film layer and a solid electrolyte layer, and is covered with an insulating resin layer 8, together with the surface of the surrounding metal plate 1 for drawing out a positive electrode. In the insulating resin layer 8, an exposure hole 9 which mutually divides the negative and positive electrodes and exposing each partially is provided, and external terminals 21, 27 are formed at respective exposed sections 11, 71 by gold bumps, solder balls, and the like, before being cut into pieces.
