PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database system of high usability by achieving high-speed operation. SOLUTION: A database processing apparatus for performing a process with a database stored in a memory: comprises an analyzing means which receives process request information for the database, analyses the process request information to discriminate a process content for the database based on a preset analysis reference, and identifies an operation command for the database contained in the process request information; a database process means which executes the operation command that is identified in the database by the analyzing means, and processes the process content that has been analyzed by the analyzing means; and a journal writing-out means which writes the operation command identified by the analyzing means together with the process content that has been analyzed by analyzing means in other storage device as a journal representing the process history of the database, with the process content being separated from the operation command.
