PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing inexpensively an electrophoresis sheet by which an electrophoresis sheet with high quality can be manufactured, and a method for manufacturing of an electrophoresis display device. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the electrophoresis sheet having an electrophoresis layer disposed on a transparent substrate, a plurality of cut portions of a cut member which extend in different directions such that extension directions of the cut portions are not opposite from each other are brought into contact with a top side of a mother transparent substrate where the electrophoresis layer is disposed, the cut member is pressed against the mother transparent substrate almost at the same time, and a partial area of the mother transparent substrate is cut.
