PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a retainer of a roller bearing and a processing device used for it which can reduce a space for the installation of a manufacturing machine and installation costs of manufacturing facilities by reducing the number of processes, and which can reduce costs by improving work efficiency. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the retainer of the roller bearing is provided with a recess-pocket forming process, a cutting process, a bending process, a connection process, and a heat treatment process. In the recess-pocket molding process, a recess is formed along the longitudinal direction of a molding material, and pockets are formed at regular intervals at the same time in the longitudinal direction of the molding material in which the recess is formed. In the cutting process, the molding material in which the pocket is formed is cut to the predetermined length. In the bending process, the cut molding material is bent in a nearly circle shape, and in the connection process, the retainer is formed by connecting both ends of the bent molding material to each other.
