PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct connecting adapter capable of muffling noise by a simple structure without obstructing a flow of air current, and a blower using the same. SOLUTION: The duct connecting adapter 12 capable of muffling noise by the simple structure without obstructing a flow of the air current and the centrifugal blower 1 can be provided by forming a resonance type noise muffling structure by arranging a wall shape partition 19 partitioning the inside of an introduction part 16 connecting a blower connecting part 15 and a duct connecting part 14 of the duct connecting part adapter 12 into a channel 17 and a space 18 for noise muffling, near an outer circumference of a blow out port 11 with a gap 20 kept from an outer shell 5.
