PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document storage box which can be carried by one hand and also includes a dividing function. SOLUTION: The document storage box 1 includes: a main box body 2 comprised of a front side board 21, a back side board 22, a left side board 23, a right side board 24, and a bottom board 25; a dividing part 3 provided inside the main box body 2 in a slidable manner; respective folded boards 29, 30 on the upper ends of the opposing front side board 21 and back side board 22. When the dividing part 3, consisting of a main dividing board 41 having a hand grip hole 42 disposed between the front side board 21 and the back side board 22 and sliding support boards disposed on both ends of the dividing board 41, slides outward from the open side of the main box body 2, the sliding support boards engage with the folded boards 29, 30 and the hand grip hole 42 protrudes over the main box body 2.
