PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter washing apparatus capable of removing foreign matters in a filter by reducing air bubbles in the filter when washing the filter by ultrasonic vibrations. SOLUTION: The filter washing apparatus comprises: a washing tank 1 having a storage part 1b in which washing liquid 2 is stored; a pressure-reducing means 4 arranged in the washing tank 1, for reducing an air pressure in the washing tank 1; a washing liquid spray means 6 which is disposed in the washing tank 1 and sprays the washing liquid 2 toward the filter 5 in the cleaned washing tank 1; and an ultrasonic wave generating means 3 which is disposed on the washing tank 1 and applies ultrasonic waves to the washing liquid 2, wherein the washing liquid spray means 6 sprays the washing liquid 2 of a plurality of diameters of liquid streams or droplets.
