PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect cage installed with a port for putting-in the insect easily and quickly by using only one hand of capturing the insect without opening/closing the port for putting-in the insect. SOLUTION: This insect cage 1 formed as a hollow by a front cage 2 and a rear cage 3 is characterized by installing a cover 7 formed with a member having elasticity and having radially formed notches 8, a port for putting-in 5 constituted with a seating part 6 for fixing the cover 7, also a lid 14 for the port for putting-in the insect and a string 16 for the lid.
