摘要 FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns area of control and measuring technique and can be used for measurement of average value of frequency of periodic signals. The way of measurement of frequency consists in forming of a known time interval, calculation of number of the periods of a gauged signal for this interval, calculation of value of frequency. Thus samples of instant values of a gauged signal are made, value of level of readout is set, the sample capture analysis on equality to level of readout and change of a mark of sample capture values concerning readout level are made, a sample capture file, describing the largest integral quantity of the periods of an input signal of gauged frequency is formed on the basis of the analysis; the moments of time of first and last transitions of a signal through readout level are defined by linear interpolation, and value of frequency is calculated under the formula. ^ EFFECT: maintenance of measurement of frequency of a periodic signal of any shape. ^ 1 dwg
