<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a meniscus lens by solving problems that in a conventional technology, the structure of a mold is complicated and the control of heating and cooling is difficult because a plurality of heating means are used, thereby disturbing the stable production. <P>SOLUTION: The meniscus lens is press-molded using a base material 5 provided with a recessed part 5a on the outer peripheral part side surface. The formation of the recessed part 5a on the outer peripheral part side surface of the base material 5 eliminates the difference of the thickness between the center part and the outer peripheral part to carry out uniform cooling and as a result, the meniscus lens having small sink or inner distortion is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
