<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device for a fuel reformer controlling while taking the nonlinearity of a heat model of a reforming catalyst into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU (electronic control unit) 3 is equipped with: a catalyst temperature sensor 21 detecting temperature of a reforming catalyst 11; a catalyst temperature estimating section 32 estimating a catalyst temperature based on a correlation model that relates a catalyst temperature and a catalyst reaction heat coefficient among a plurality of parameters featuring the reformation reaction in the reforming catalyst 11; a controller 30 controlling temperature of the reforming catalyst 11 based on the estimated temperature T<SB>CAT HAT</SB>by the catalyst temperature estimating section 32; and a model correcting section 34 defining a plurality of correction weight functions W<SB>0</SB>to W<SB>4</SB>regarding the catalyst temperature as a definition region, calculating a plurality of local correction coefficients K<SB>CL 0</SB>to K<SB>CL 4</SB>to be multiplied by the respective correction weight functions, based on the detection temperature T<SB>CAT SNS</SB>by the catalyst temperature sensor 21 and on the estimated temperature T<SB>CAT HAT</SB>by the catalyst temperature estimating section 32, and correcting the correlation model based on the plurality of correction weight functions and local correction coefficients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
