PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long carbon fiber sheet which can reduce the effect of warps formed on thermal treatments and has a good quality even in a nonwoven fabric-like or paper-like shape, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Provided is the carbon fiber sheet in which a carbon fiber sheet (a) is bound to a carbon fiber sheet (b), wherein, the terminal end portion of the carbon fiber sheet (a) superimposes with the initial end portion of the carbon fiber sheet (b), penetrated holes (y) are formed in the side end portions of the superimposed portion, binding yarns (n) pass through the penetrated holes (y), and the penetrated holes (y) and the side ends of the superimposed portion are bound with the binding yarns (n). Provided also is the method for producing the carbon fiber sheet, which includes binding penetrated holes (Y) and the side ends of a superimposed portion with binding yarns (N) to bind carbon fiber sheet precursors (A) and (B), and then carbonizing the bound carbon fiber sheet precursors.
