PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror mechanism for an AF single lens reflex camera capable of effectively preventing luminous flux intruding into a finder from advancing to photographic luminous flux when opening operation of a shutter is performed. SOLUTION: An auxiliary light shielding member 42 operated interlocked with sub mirror devices 38 and 40 is provided separately from the sub mirror devices. When a main mirror device exists at a photographing position, the back surface of the main mirror is shielded from light by the sub mirror devices and the auxiliary light shielding member.
