PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display irregularities caused in a horizontal direction, when a voltage of a capacitance line 132 is changed. SOLUTION: A pixel includes a pixel capacitance and storage capacitance, one end of which is connected to a pixel electrode, and the other end of which is connected to the capacitance line 132. The capacitance line 132 is provided corresponding to each of 1 to 320 rows, and a capacitance line driving circuit 150 includes thin film transistors (TFTs) 151, 152, 157 at each of 1 to 320 rows. When an i-th row scan line 112 is selected, either of an i-th row TFT 151 or 152 is switched on, and the other is switched off. After selection of the scan line is finished, either of the TFT 151 or 152 is switched off and the other is switched on, and voltage of the i-th row capacitance line 132 is changed, and a state after the switching is kept until the i-th row scan line 112 is selected again. An i-th row TFT 157 is switched on, when the i-th row scan line is selected, and the same voltage as that of either of the i-th row TFT 151 or 152 which is switched on is supplied through a third voltage supply line 183.
