摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser ignition device for igniting fuel existing in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders by using a plurality of laser diodes of a low rated output without receiving an influence by a temperature change in the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This laser ignition device is provided for the internal combustion engine having the plurality of cylinders. The laser ignition device has a Q switch solid laser installed in each cylinder, a plurality of fiber lasers joined to the Q switch sold laser and supplying the exciting light, and the plurality of laser diodes for supplying exciting light to the fiber lasers. A core of optional one fiber laser has a proximal part in a close vicinity to a core of at least one fiber laser of the other fiber laser, and is injected and synchronized in a resonator of its other fiber laser by a laser beam emitted from the core of the optional fiber laser in the proximal part, and a giant pulse is output from the selected Q switch solid laser.
