PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a concrete floating pier of a desired size to be constructed without use of a dry dock, to solve such problems that the restriction of a cardinal number of construction on the basis of the scale of the dry dock and the lengthening of a construction period are caused when the dry dock and the like are used for the construction of the concrete floating pier. SOLUTION: Block bodies 1a and 1b as split units of the floating pier are manufactured on land when the floating pier are split into a plurality of sections. The block bodies 1a and 1b are loaded in numbers, required for the length of the floating pier, on a launching barge 2 or an on-land quaywall by using a rough terrain crane etc. When the block bodies 1 are arranged on the launching barge 2 or the on-land quaywall and joined with an adhesive 3, the floating pier is constructed. When the launching barge 2 is sunk or is lowered in a suspended state from the on-land quaywall by means of a marine crane after the curing of the adhesive 3, the floating pier floats on the surface of the water, and is towed to a desired installation location.
