PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waterproof cap which is prevented from inadvertently falling, and a wiper system equipped with the cap. SOLUTION: Upon mounting of the waterproof cap 90 on a cylindrical member 70, a pair of sandwiching strips 104 are subjected to elastomeric deformation, while sandwiching a frame 74 for gripping. Thus, as the sandwiching strips 104 provided on the waterproof cap 90 grip the frame 74, it is securely fixed the waterproof cap 90 as a component of the wiper system 10. Since the waterproof cap 90 can be kept firmly fixed, the waterproof cap 90 is prevented from inadvertently falling at the time of transporting the wiper system, or of mounting the wiper system on a vehicle body.
