PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a flow channel dimension of a head to manufacture the head. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for the head having a plurality of nozzle lines includes a step of determining the dimension common to flow channels of the respective nozzle lines, a step of supplying a liquid different to every nozzle line, for applying the same drive waveform to a driving element of every nozzle line, and for delivering the liquid different in every nozzle line, and a step of making the dimensions of the flow channels of the respective nozzle lines for every nozzle line different, using the dimension common to the flow channels as a reference, based on a delivery result of the liquid different in every nozzle line.
