PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized mop squeezer capable of reducing the physical burden of changing and squeezing washing water by using a bucket or the like as a washing water container, capable of freely changing the water content regardless of the thickness of a mop cloth, and capable of being easily carried and stored. SOLUTION: A push-pull rod 23 connected to a movable roller 2 is extended to the rear side of a base board 1 to press and squeeze the mop cloth between the movable roller 2 and a driven roller 3 on the front side of the base board 1. The mop squeezer also has an up-down plate 6 having a lever 63 constituting a crank mechanism to pressurize a spring 4 disposed on the rear side of the base board 1 and to move the push-pull rod 23. When the lever 63 is locked rearward, the push-pull rod 23 pulls the movable roller 2 rearward via an arm rod 62 and presses the mop cloth. When s stepping plate 9 on the rear side of the base board 1 is stepped on, an endless transmitter 83 connected to the stepping plate 9 is rotated along a rotor 8, and a raising rod 7 connected to the endless transmitter 83 is raised. Then, the mop cloth is raised while being squeezed as operatively connected with the raising rod 7 and the mop cloth is discharged. The mop squeezer has the structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
