FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: according the invention, the method of measuring amplitude-frequency characteristics of microwave four-terminal networks allows for linearising the non-linear part of a response curve using correction voltage values, which depend on the power level at the input of the measuring detector. The correction voltage values are calculated as the difference between ideal and real response curves plotted for this detector through approximation using coefficients which are unknowns solved for in a system of linear equations, which are in form of curves of voltage at the output of the measuring detector versus the power level at its input for several points of the response curve, while applying a calibration signal with known power level and fixed frequency at the measuring detector. The power level of the signal is discretely varied, while inputting known attenuation values into it and measuring the value of voltage at the output of the measuring detector, which corresponds to the power level at its input, used when composing the linear equations. ^ EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of measurement. ^ 4 dwg |
