<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell capable of providing high power generation performance even in a high load operation by increasing the migration speed of a reaction substance in a diffusion layer, and hardly causing flooding. <P>SOLUTION: This solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell 10 includes a membrane-electrode assembly with electrodes 20 each including a catalyst layer 22 and a diffusion layer 26 jointed to both surfaces of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane 12, and a porous body gas passage 30 for supplying a reactive gas to the electrodes 20, wherein the ratio of the gas permeability of the diffusion layer 26 to that of the porous body gas passage 30 is 0.3-1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
