<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for detecting a defect of tube seal by which no poor seal is generated. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a hollow head part to which the opening part of a tube container is inserted outwardly, an injector for feeding hot air into the inside part of the head part, and an annular cooler enclosing the outer periphery of the opening part of the tube container put around the head part, wherein when a heater device having a plurality of blowing-out holes formed therein is applied at the outer periphery of the bottom part of the head part to bring the opening part of the tube container into a half molten state under application of hot air sealed in sequence by a sealing device, the tube container is put around the head part to melt the inner periphery side of the opening part of the tube container with hot air, and the temperature of the outer surface of the tube container just below the head part is measured with an infrared radiation thermometer, and then the defect of tube sealing is grasped on the basis of this result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
