PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-situ clarification method of contaminated ground or contaminated groundwater by which the degradation effect of an organic halogen compound can be more improved. SOLUTION: In the in-situ clarification method of the contaminated ground or the contaminated groundwater by which the contaminated ground or the contaminated groundwater contaminated by the organic halogen compound is clarified in situ by activating anaerobic microorganisms having degradation activity for the organic halogen compound, a slurry like mixture prepared by mixing a clarification material containing at least one of wheat bran or flour, iron and water is supplied to the contaminated ground or the contaminated groundwater.
