摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high optical performance and a profile irregularity by preventing the occurrence of fine sink on the surface of a resin constituting a composite optical element during a molding process. SOLUTION: In the apparatus of manufacturing the composite optical element wherein the displacement of a mold 3 supported by a mold fixing board 7 to a base material 2 to mold an ultraviolet setting resin 1 applied on the base material 2 is controlled by a servomotor 9 and a ball screw mechanism 8 which are controlled by a servocontroller 13, the mold 3 is set to a floating state by changing a torque limitation set value 21 of the servomotor 9 to a value matching with the weight of the mold 3 and the supporting structure in the start of the curing of the ultraviolet setting resin 1 by the irradiation with ultraviolet ray to control the mold 3 to follow the shrinkage curing force of the ultraviolet-setting resin 1 to prevent the occurrence of the sink on the optical functional surface 1a of the ultraviolet setting resin 1 on which a molding surface 3a of the mold 3 is transferred and as a result, the surface accuracy of the optical functional surface 1a of the ultraviolet resin 1 constituting the composite optical element with the base material 2 is improved.
