PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition giving a molded product having excellent balance of flame-retardant properties, transparency and impact resistance and to provide the molded product. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition contains 20 to 52 mass% rubber reinforced acrylic resin, 40 to 70 mass% acrylic resin and 8 to 20 mass% specified brominated triazine compound. The rubber reinforced acrylic resin is obtained by polymerizing 72 to 40 mass% vinyl monomer (a2) containing 50 to 95 mass% methyl methacrylate in the presence of 28 to 60 mass% diene rubbery polymer (a1). The acrylic resin comprises 50 to 90 mass% methyl methacrylate unit (b1), 10 to 30 mass% aromatic vinyl compound unit (b2) and 0 to 20 mass% the other vinyl monomer unit (b3) when the total of each unit is 100 mass% and has intrinsic viscosity higher than that of an acetone soluble component of the rubber reinforced acrylic resin [A].
