PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document arranging system which manages not only an electronically displayed cabinet but also electronic documents, as in the case of a real cabinet, and reduces a management load when a document is revised. SOLUTION: A code-generating means 505 generates plural pieces of code information which correspond to electronic documents on one-to-one basis. A document information registering means 506 makes a document information storage means 503 store the code information concerned in association with the electronic document identification information on the electronic documents, and also makes the document information storage means 503 store information relative to the electronic documents in association with the electronic document identification information on the electronic documents when the information relative to the electronic documents is input. Then, when code information on two electronic documents is input, the document information registering means makes the document information storage means 503 store information relative to one electronic document corresponding to one piece of code information as information relative to the other electronic document corresponding to the other piece of code information.
