PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem in the conventional soldering apparatus soldering a terminal and an electrode: since a fixed amount of solder has been fed to the surface of the electrode, when the protruding length of the terminal from the surface of the electrode is short, the terminal has been buried in the solder. SOLUTION: A soldering method is disclosed in which the electrode 20 is fitted to a terminal 11 protruded from a workpiece 10 and the electrode 20 and the terminal 11 are soldered, the method comprises: a step where the electrode 20 is fitted to the terminal 11; a step where the distal end position A of the terminal 11 in the axial direction of the terminal 11 is measured; a step where the surface position C of the electrode 20 in the axial direction of the terminal 11 is measured; a step where a difference between the measured distal end position A of the terminal 11 and the measured surface position C of the electrode 20 is calculated as a measured difference value (C-A); and a step where solder 3 corresponding to the size of the calculated difference is fed to a soldering part 9 between the terminal 11 and the electrode 20.
