A fluid path connection device (30) has a positioning mechanism (40) having a male coupler (81) attached to a stationary base member, having a female coupler (83) attached to a movable member (20), and positioning the movable member relative to the base member so that the male and female couplers (81, 82) become connectable. The fluid path connection device (30) also has a clamp mechanism (60) for clamping and fixing the movable member to the base member by elastic force of a spring (64) and releasing the clamping by hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic cylinder. The male coupler (81) has a connection sleeve (84) retracted by hydraulic pressure and advanced by spring. An oil path (90) interconnects a hydraulic operation chamber (89) of the connection sleeve (84) and an unclamping oil chamber (61a) of the hydraulic cylinder.
