A marker for distinguishing oil products, which contains a compound having amine group in aromatic ring is provided to maintain stability of developing and maximize the concentration of developing. A method for distinguishing oil products comprises: a step of labeling oil product having a marker for distinguishing, which contains a compound of the chemical formula 1; and a step of adding developer containing a compound of the chemical formula 2. In the chemical formula 1, X is O or S, R1-R5 is independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom, straight or branched alkyl group having 1-12 carbon atoms, benzyl group or substituted or non-substituted aryl group.
