<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable carrying out a torque down of a motor during gear change without being affected by battery restriction or revolution speed of an engine in a control device of a vehicle which is equipped with an engine and motor, and outputs driving force from the motor to driving wheel through the automatic transmission. <P>SOLUTION: When the driving current of the motor (a second motor generator MG 2) cannot be reduced during gear change (when a possibility of battery restriction or excess rotation of engine exists), the torque down is carried out by reducing driving efficiency of the second motor generator MG 2. Carrying out of the torque down during gear change becomes possible without being affected by battery restriction or revolution speed of the engine, since power consumption does not decrease and power balance does not change by performing the torque down thus by degradation of driving efficiency, and deterioration of gear change shock can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
