<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic shaft easily elongated/contracted in a region where an axial sliding load is increased, and to provide a steering device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The telescopic shaft 20 comprises a male shaft 21 and a female shaft 22 fitted to each other to be torque transmissive and relatively movable in the axial direction.
