<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a window assembly that can be correctly attached to a back side of a window plate while keeping a strip material at a prescribed reference position regardless of a variation in the external dimension of the window plate itself. <P>SOLUTION: A strip material position fixing device 110 is used having a fixing means formed thereon for fixing the strip material 20 at a position corresponding to a prescribed attaching position with a prescribed central position as a reference to detachably fix the strip material 20 to the fixing means, and the window plate 12 is advanced toward the strip material position fixing device 110 fixed to its position. The fixing device 110 is provided with a resilient means for generating resilient force toward the center of the surface of the window plate 12 for applying the resilient force to perform position adjustment in the direction parallel to the surface direction of the window plate 12, match the central position of the window plate 12 with the central position of the fixing device 110, and bonding a bonded part of the window plate 12 and a bonding part of the strip material 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
