<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film for a letterpress printing photosensitive resin, wherein no moisture absorbing wrinkles occur even when a cover film is peeled off under a high-humidity condition, cleaning and removal are performed by water treatment liquid, and the resolution of image reproduction is high. <P>SOLUTION: The protective film for a letterpress printing photosensitive resin is removable by an water developing liquid, and contains a water-soluble polymer and an anionic polymer.
