PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram information recording/reproducing device capable of reproducing an angle change of a reference light accompanying a dimensional change due to a change of environmental temperature, etc., or the angle of the reference light including noise characteristic, etc., of a photodetecting element or hologram medium, under the optimum condition. SOLUTION: The hologram medium 1 is irradiated with the reference light, and information data are reproduced in accordance with a reproduced light read out from the hologram medium 1 by the irradiation of the reference light. Also, an error rate is calculated from the reproduced information data to adjust the angle of reference light in accordance with the error rate. At this time, the angle of the reference light at the recording is taken as a reference, the reproduction is carried out by deflecting the angle of reference light in the minute quantity more than once, and the angle of reference light is adjusted so that the error rate become minimum.
