摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize control in the incorrect direction of an engine air-fuel ratio, when a misfire is caused. SOLUTION: This air-fuel ratio control device 6 is constituted so as to control the air-fuel ratio of an internal combustion engine 1 based on output of an upstream side air-fuel ratio sensor 66 arranged in an exhaust passage on the upstream side of an exhaust emission control catalyst 53. Here, when the misfire is caused, the output of the upstream side air-fuel ratio sensor 66 becomes clearly different from a value corresponding to the true engine air-fuel ratio. Here, this air-fuel ratio control device 6 has a misfire influence restraining part 607.
