PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle to easily direct a visual point of a driver to an actual view. SOLUTION: This display device 1 for the vehicle to display supporting information within a view field of a driver is furnished with an obstruction detection means 10 to detect an obstruction in the circumference of the vehicle, a determination means 31 to determine whether or not a relative distance between the obstruction and the one's own vehicle detected by the obstruction detection means 10 is more than a threshold value and a display control means 32 to display a focal distance in displaying the supporting information to be nearer than a focal distance in displaying another supporting information when the relative distance is determined to be more than the threshold value by the determination means 31.
