PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a maintenance efficiency by accurately identifying the defect of a valve in a brake control device. SOLUTION: This brake control device comprises a defective position identifying means for identifying whether any of a regulator cut valve and a separation valve is defective. A brake ECU performs an anti-lock control while the regular cut valve and the separation valve are controllably opened and a master cut valve is controllably closed when the state of slip is detected by a vehicle wheel speed sensor. The defective position identifying means so identifies that the regular cut valve is defective when the wheel speed of rear wheels does not change according to a change of pressure detected by a regulator pressure sensor during the antilock control, and that the separation valve is defective when only the wheel speed of the wheels is changed according to the change of pressure detected by the regulator pressure sensor.
