PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film material which has biodegradability using polylactic acid, can reduce influence exerted on the natural environment when being disposed of, is further provided with excellent resilience and flexibility by being blended with a plasticizer, and further can suppress an appearance change such as whitening and deformation caused by the crystallization of polylactic acid by the blending of the plasticizer and surface stain caused by the leaching of the plasticizer. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a film material obtained by coating a cloth 3 with a thermoplastic resin 2 which comprises crosslinked polylactic acid particles 1 carried with a plasticizer.
