The invention relates to a machine tool, in particular a hand-held grinder (1), comprising a drive unit (2) and a tool (3), wherein connecting means are provided for connecting the tool (3) and the drive unit (2). The invention also relates to a method for assembling a machine tool, in particular a hand-held grinder, wherein a tool is connected to a drive unit. The aim of the invention is to specify an improved machine tool. According to the first alternative, the connecting means of the machine tool are firstly a component part of the tool (3) and secondly a component part of the drive unit (2) and they form a releasable connection between the tool (3) and the drive unit (2). According to the second alternative, the tool (3) has an extension (4), which comprises a vertical shaft (15) with a bevel gear (16, 17) at each free end, a drive shaft (18) which is operatively connected to the drive unit (2) and has a bevel gear (19), and an output shaft (20) which is operatively connected to the tool (3) and has a bevel gear (21), wherein the bevel gear (19) of the drive shaft (18) corresponds to that bevel gear (17) of the vertical shaft (15) which points towards the drive unit (2), and the bevel gear (21) of the output shaft (20) corresponds to that bevel gear (16) of the vertical shaft (15) which points towards the tool (3). |
